Phosphoric acid
ICL is a leading producer of phosphoric acid for chemical manufacturing. We supply phosphoric acid as a raw material to customers producing downstream phosphate-based products such as phosphoric acid line cleaners, transition metal phosphate salts, metal phosphating solutions, and aluminum bright dip solutions.
Polyphosphoric acid
ICL’s Polyphosphoric Acid (PPA) is supplied as raw material and recommended for use or evaluation in the following manufacturing processes: production of flame retardants phosphate esters, phosphorylation of polyols, production of phosphate ester surfactants, as a catalyst in organic reactions, and improving thermo-mechanical properties of asphalt cements.
Bromine
ICL is the world’s largest producer of elemental bromine, supplying over 33% of the global demand. Bromine and bromine-based compounds are a fundamental component in a wide spectrum of industrial applications such as heat stabilizers, photographic emulsions, wood preservatives, catalyst (quaternary ammonium bromides), alkylation agents, special cleaning solvents, degreasing agents, and many more.
