Over the past year, we continued to advance ICL’s strategy, focusing on delivering essential solutions that address the world’s greatest challenges. We have evolved from a mineral-based company into a solutions-driven organization, leveraging our knowledge, innovation, and technology to create meaningful value. Our focus is to contribute to food security for the world’s growing population by strengthening our leadership in specialty crop nutrition.
We continue to increase our emphasis on higher-value agricultural inputs and functional food ingredients, while advancing our role within global systems that support food security and economic resilience. We also enhance durability and safety across industries, ultimately playing a role in the everyday lives of people around the world.

ICL is at the forefront of the global effort to combat world hunger and is making a substantial impact on food security, feeding approximately 400 million people every day. As a key player in fertilizer production for agriculture

Product stewardship is an inherent part of ICL’s operations and applies throughout all stages of product life, from extraction of raw materials, through the use phase, and up to the end of a product’s life.

Greenhouse gas emission
Reduce absolute Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 30% by 2030 (using 2018 as the baseline) and achieve net zero by 2050 (Scope 1 & 2). Following SBTi validation, and while maintaining our legacy 2030 target, we set near-term targets of a 58.8% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions and a 35% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2034 (using 2022 as the baseline).
Employee responsibility
Promoting personal responsibility and creating social impact through volunteer work and social development programs
Renewable energy usage
Increasing the share of our low carbon and renewable energy consumption to 50% by 2040 (using 2018 as the baseline).
Market Leadership
Improve our performance in sustainability and ESG indices and practices.
Water Saving
An average annual reduction of 4% in freshwater use and an average annual reduction of 2% in low quality water use (using 2022 as the base line).
Sustainable procurement
As part of the TfS initiative, target 1,240 TfS-validated suppliers in 2026.
Social Responsibility and Communities
Giving back to communities in which we operate by contributing 1% of our annual earnings towards social responsibility and community initiatives.
Product carbon footprint
Implement additional phases of our strategic plan to expand coverage of our automated life-cycle analysis digital transformation.
Air emission reduction
A reduction of 3% in suspended particulate matter by the end of 2026 (using 2023 as the baseline)
Green products
Increase revenues from sustainable products, with a focus on specialty products, supported by the advancement of our Scope 3 reduction plan.
Safety
A reduction of 4% in IR compared to our previous three-year average.
Waste reduction
An average annual reduction of 2% in landfill waste (Haz & Non Haz) and an average annual reduction of 3% in Hazardous waste (using 2022 as the baseline).
Women in senior management
Women holding a minimum of 27% of senior management roles by the end of 2026 and 33% by the end of 2030
Energy Efficiency Improvement
Achieve continuous year-over-year improvements in our energy efficiency, with a 2026 target of a minimum 1% improvement compared to our 2025 energy consumption.

Bloomberg ESG
Our Bloomberg ESG Score, as of May 2026, is 5.51 (with 10 being the highest), better than 88.1% of companies in the Agricultural Chemical peer group.
BDi Ranking (Israel)
In the 2025 BDi ranking of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Israel, ICL was ranked 15th among all Israeli companies, and 1st among all Israeli industrial companies. This survey-based ranking measures the views of Israeli employees and managers, as well as peers’ views, regarding their current and preferred places of work, and takes into consideration their companies’ investment in human capital.
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
ICL maintained its A score in CDP Climate Change, improved its CDP Water Security score to A, and achieved an A score in the Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) in its 2025 CDP disclosure. These results place ICL as a CDP “A” List Company across all three categories. The CDP A-List is an annual recognition awarded to companies demonstrating leadership in environmental transparency and performance. In 2025, only 1% of disclosing companies achieved A scores across two or more environmental issues (Climate Change, Water Security, and Forests), highlighting the significance of our achievement.
EcoVadis
Our EcoVadis score improved to 79 points, earning the Company the Ecovadis Gold Medal and placing us among the top 5% of 75,000 rated suppliers.
Maala ESG (Israel)
ICL was awarded the prestigious Platinum+ ranking, maintaining its position for the seventh consecutive year in the 2025 Maala ESG Index. Additionally, we attained the esteemed Maala ESG AA ranking, positioning us among the top companies of the Pharmaceutical & Industrial category. Furthermore, ICL was recognized in the Diversity & Inclusion index. The Maala ranking stands as Israel’s premier ESG index.
Entropy Corporate Governance Improved Ranking
ICL was rated as a “Leader” in Entropy’s ESG ranking, which is the highest rating in Entropy’s model and places ICL as an industry leader.
Sustainalytics
ICL’s Sustainalytics ESG risk score ranking improved to 21 (from 23, where lower scores indicate better performance), ranking ICL 2nd out of 76 companies in its sector and positioning us among the industry’s leaders.
ISS ESG
ICL received ISS’ new improved rating of C+ and a score of 48.07, up from a C rating and a score of 37.56, positioning ICL among the top 20% of companies in our sector.
Business Intelligence Group
ICL won the 2025 “BIG Innovation Award” from the Business Intelligence Group, an esteemed recognition celebrating global innovation and business excellence. Business Intelligence Group is the first crowdsourced and openly transparent awards platform that puts businesses first. The SEAL (Sustainability, Environmental Achievement and Leadership) Awards honor the organizations and leaders dedicated to making real progress on the most pressing issue of our time. SEAL Award winners are determined by a holistic methodology that measures applicants against established benchmark metrics that demonstrate true impact and progress towards a healthy planet and a sustainable future. Our FruitMag™ product won the 2025 SEAL Sustainable Product Award for its innovative, mineral-based solution that reduces citrus losses using natural Dead Sea magnesium without fungicides.
IFA Industry Stewardship Champion
In 2025, ICL was again designated an IFA Industry Stewardship Champion, recognized for excellence in safety, environmental performance, energy efficiency and CO2 emissions, ranking among the 30 leading fertilizer companies worldwide.

Global Crisis Response
At ICL, we believe in leveraging our resources and expertise to make a positive impact in times of crisis around the world. In response to the crisis in Ukraine we actively participated in various initiatives aimed at providing relief and aid to those in need. ICL swiftly dispatched our dedicated rescue teams to Turkey following a severe earthquake as first responders, our teams worked tirelessly to provide immediate assistance and support to the affected communities, showcasing our unwavering dedication to humanitarian efforts.
Giving Back to Our Communities - Making a Difference
ICL is committed to our communities. We are proud to contribute $14.5 million, to support social causes and initiatives that create a positive and lasting impact. We actively engage with our communities, collaborating with local partners, and encouraging our employees to volunteer their time and skills to create a better future for all. In 2022, our employees reached 60,000 of volunteering hours. We firmly believe that by working together, we can achieve meaningful and lasting change.
Greener energy solutions
ICL plans to build a LFP cathode active material manufacturing plant in St. Louis, Missouri. The plant is expected to be the first large-scale LFP material manufacturing plant in the US and is designed to produce high-quality LFP material for the global lithium battery industry, as ICL Leads the efforts in U.S. to Develop Sustainable Supply Chain for Energy Storage Solutions, with $400 Million Investment. The LFP plant represents a significant expansion of ICL’s energy storage portfolio and demonstrates the company’s commitment to developing high-quality specialty products for agricultural, food and industrial applications.

Stakeholder Engagement Initiation
In 2001, ICL took action to initiate stakeholders’ dialogue, recognizing the importance of involving local communities, authorities, and NGOs in decision-making processes.
Site-level CSR Reporting Milestone
In 2007, ICL achieved a significant milestone by publishing its first site-level CSR report, showcasing its commitment to transparency and accountability at the site level.
Sustainability Advancement in Product Development
In 2009, ICL made progress in advancing sustainability in product development by developing a Sustainability Index for Product R&D, guiding the company towards more sustainable solutions. It also completed its first full carbon footprint assessments for several products, aiming to measure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
1st Carbon Reporting and GHG Inventory
In 2011, ICL made significant strides in carbon reporting and inventory management. It published its first Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Carbon report, demonstrating transparency and environmental stewardship. ICL also reported its first annual greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory to the voluntary reporting scheme in Israel.
Embracing UN Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, ICL aligned its sustainability efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, integrating them into strategic planning and operations. This commitment focused on areas such as climate action, responsible consumption and production, and partnerships for sustainable development.
Ashalim Creek Restoration Efforts
In 2017, ICL took charge of the restoration efforts following the Ashalim creek accident, emphasizing environmental responsibility. The Company worked collaboratively to restore the creek and minimize the impact, as well as re-opening it to the public in 2018.
Transitioning to Natural Gas for GHG Emission Reduction
In 2018, ICL transitioned its Israeli site to natural gas, marking a significant step towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This proactive measure aligned with the Company's ambitious GHG emission reduction targets was a stepping stone towards further sustainability commitments.
Trailblazing TCFD Disclosure and Sustainability-linked Loan (SLL)
In 2021, ICL published its first Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), incorporated in its annual report, showcasing transparency, and climate risk management. ICL also announced a new €250 million sustainability-linked loan (SLL), demonstrating its dedication to sustainability by setting ESG key performance indicators into financial strategies.
