World Agri Tech London
Now in its 10th year, the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit has become the annual meeting place for the global agtech industry.
As we celebrate a return to live events, the summit will bring together leading agribusinesses, co-operatives, CPG brands, entrepreneurs, investors, and policy makers to accelerate the transition to sustainable and resilient agri-food systems.
Novel materials startup pitch event
On February 9th, we had an event where we featured startups and academic partners from novel materials domains. During this event, each start-up presented itself and its connection with ICL in a 5-minute pitch, followed by a 2 minute Q&A session. The event was meant to create awareness of these partnerships and also generate new ideas for collaboration.
Crop nutrition and food startup pitch event
Over the last few years, ICL’s external innovation arm (ICL Innovation) has been collaborating with academic institutes and startups in the areas of crop nutrition, food technology, and novel materials that address unmet needs defined by the Business Divisions. 40+ projects have been initiated globally. Currently, we have 12 active projects and we are in the process of starting 7 new projects. Two of the projects that were initiated are now in ICL’s commercial pipeline.
Artificial Intelligence in Action
Many argue Digital Transformation is key for a business to survive in the years ahead. At ICL we steadily develop capability on many important aspects of digital concepts related to RD&I, product development, enterprise search and human assisted algorithmic analysis. We are making our first steps in finding new applications and market adjacencies using AI and analyzing big data for trends. Yet, the possibilities of using AI in the organization remain mostly unexplored. In this virtual conference we would like to showcase some of the key projects with a hope of inspiring all of you to come up with further ideas that we can build together in the years to come.
